14The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skillful to work in gold, and in silver, in bronze, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to engrave any manner of engraving, and to devise every design that shall be put to him, with your skillful men, and with the skillful men of my lord David your father.
7Send me now therefore a man skillful to work in gold, and in silver, and in bronze, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and who knows how to engrave with the skillful men that are with me in Judah and Jerusalem, whom David my father provided.
8Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon, for I know that your servants are skillful to cut timber in Lebanon; and behold, my servants shall be with your servants,
9To prepare me timber in abundance, for the house which I am about to build shall be exceedingly great.
18And Solomon's builders and Hiram's builders and the stonecutters quarried them; so they prepared timber and stones to build the house.
5And behold, I plan to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spoke to David my father, saying, Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, he shall build a house for my name.
6Now therefore command that they cut me cedar trees from Lebanon, and my servants will be with your servants, and I will give you hire for your servants according to all that you designate, for you know that there is none among us who can skillfully cut timber like the Sidonians.
7And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, he rejoiced greatly and said, Blessed be the LORD today, who has given David a wise son over this great people.
8And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have considered the things you sent to me for, and I will do all your desire concerning cedar and fir timber.
13And King Solomon sent and brought Hiram out of Tyre.
10So Hiram gave Solomon cedar trees and fir trees according to all his desire.

2He also built the house of the forest of Lebanon; its length was one hundred cubits, and its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.
11Even to the craftsmen and builders they gave it, to buy hewn stone, timber for couplings, and to floor the houses which the kings of Judah had destroyed.
2And David understood that the LORD had established him as king over Israel, for his kingdom was exalted because of his people Israel.
5Go and tell my servant David, Thus says the LORD, Shall you build me a house for me to dwell in?

12He shall build me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.
