Then David said, This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.

15And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David my father, and has with his hand fulfilled it, saying,
16Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house, that my name might be there; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.
17And it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
18And the LORD said to David my father, Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.

28At that time when David saw that the LORD had answered him in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite, he sacrificed there.
29For the tabernacle of the LORD, which Moses made in the wilderness, and the altar of burnt offering, were at that time in the high place at Gibeon.
21As David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David, and went out from the threshing floor, and bowed to David with his face to the ground.
22Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this threshing floor, that I may build an altar there to the LORD; you shall grant it to me for the full price: that the plague may be stopped from the people.
23And Ornan said to David, Take it for yourself, and let my lord the king do what is good in his eyes: see, I give the oxen also for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the grain offering; I give it all.
24But King David said to Ornan, No; but I will buy it for the full price: for I will not take what is yours for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.
26And David built there an altar to the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the LORD; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt offering.
16And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my house, that you have brought me this far?
18Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and he said, Who am I, O Lord GOD? and what is my house, that you have brought me this far?
27For you, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, have revealed to your servant, saying, I will build you a house: therefore your servant has found in his heart to pray this prayer to you.
21And Araunah said, Why has my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshing floor from you, to build an altar to the LORD, that the plague may be stopped from the people.
22And Araunah said to David, Let my lord the king take and offer up whatever seems good to him: behold, here are oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments and other instruments of the oxen for wood.
19Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore, and build the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built for the name of the LORD.
1Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the LORD appeared to David his father, in the place that David had prepared on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
5And behold, I plan to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spoke to David my father, saying, Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, he shall build a house for my name.
5Go and tell my servant David, Thus says the LORD, Shall you build me a house for me to dwell in?
22And this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that you give me I will surely give the tenth to you.
3And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD to its place, which he had prepared for it.
25And David built there an altar to the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was entreated for the land, and the plague was stopped from Israel.
20And David said to all the assembly, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the assembly blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshiped the LORD, and the king.
4Go and tell David my servant, Thus says the LORD, You shall not build me a house to live in:
25For you, O my God, have told your servant that you will build him a house: therefore your servant has found in his heart to pray before you.
4Behold, I build a house for the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn sweet incense before him, and for the continual showbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance forever to Israel.
11And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons; and they built David a house.
12And David perceived that the LORD had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for the sake of his people Israel.
8And they dwelt in it, and have built You a sanctuary in it for Your name, saying,
10The LORD therefore has performed his word that he has spoken; for I have risen up in the place of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
1Furthermore, King David said to all the assembly, Solomon my son, whom alone God has chosen, is still young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.
18And Gad came that day to David, and said to him, Go up, erect an altar to the LORD in the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.
1So they brought the ark of God and set it in the middle of the tent that David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.
17And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in its place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it, and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.
4And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who has with his hands fulfilled what he spoke with his mouth to my father David, saying,
20And the LORD has performed his word that he spoke, and I have risen up in place of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built a house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
1Now it happened, as David sat in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, Look, I live in a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD remains under curtains.
11Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the buildings thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the inner rooms thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,
12Then Solomon offered burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,
