5 Go and tell my servant David, Thus says the LORD, Shall you build me a house for me to dwell in?

7 Now therefore thus shall you say to my servant David, Thus says the LORD of hosts, I took you from the sheepfold, even from following the sheep, that you should be ruler over my people Israel:
7 Nathan said to David, You are the man. Thus says the LORD God of Israel, I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul.
25 And now, O LORD God, the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and concerning his house, establish it forever, and do as you have said.
26 And let your name be magnified forever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God over Israel: and let the house of your servant David be established before you.
27 For you, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, have revealed to your servant, saying, I will build you a house: therefore your servant has found in his heart to pray this prayer to you.
2 Then King David stood up on his feet, and said, Hear me, my brothers, and my people: As for me, I had in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made preparations for the building:
17 And David spoke to the LORD when he saw the angel who struck the people, and said, Behold, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have they done? let Your hand, I pray You, be against me, and against my father's house.
1 Then David said, This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.
7 And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build a house unto the name of the LORD my God:

28 Then King David answered and said, Call Bathsheba to me. And she came into the king's presence and stood before the king.
17 And David said to God, Was it not I who commanded the people to be numbered? It is I who have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done? Let your hand, I pray, O LORD my God, be on me, and on my father's house; but not on your people, that they should be afflicted.
18 And David said to Saul, Who am I? and what is my life, or my father's family in Israel, that I should be son-in-law to the king?
7 Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
8 But the LORD said to David my father, Because it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well in that it was in your heart:

8 And David said to God, I have sinned greatly because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech you, remove the iniquity of your servant; for I have acted very foolishly.
25 For you, O my God, have told your servant that you will build him a house: therefore your servant has found in his heart to pray before you.
17 Now then, O LORD God of Israel, let your word be verified, which you have spoken to your servant David.
18 But will God indeed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain you; how much less this house which I have built!
32 And King David said, Call Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada to me. And they came before the king.
4 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who has with his hands fulfilled what he spoke with his mouth to my father David, saying,
7 And now, O LORD my God, you have made your servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in.
15 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David my father, and has with his hand fulfilled it, saying,
24 And Nathan said, My lord, O king, have you said, Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne?
21 And David said to Michal, It was before the LORD, who chose me before your father and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel; therefore will I play before the LORD.
18 And he said, "Why does my lord pursue after his servant? What have I done? Or what evil is in my hand?
