23 And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above or on earth beneath, who keeps covenant and mercy with your servants that walk before you with all their heart:
24 Who have kept with your servant David my father what you promised him: you also spoke with your mouth, and have fulfilled it with your hand, as it is this day.
25 Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with your servant David my father what you promised him, saying, There shall not fail you a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; if only your children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as you have walked before me.
25 And now, O LORD God, the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and concerning his house, establish it forever, and do as you have said.
26 And let your name be magnified forever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God over Israel: and let the house of your servant David be established before you.
27 For you, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, have revealed to your servant, saying, I will build you a house: therefore your servant has found in his heart to pray this prayer to you.
28 And now, O Lord GOD, you are that God, and your words are true, and you have promised this goodness to your servant:
29 Therefore now let it please you to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever before you: for you, O Lord GOD, have spoken it: and with your blessing let the house of your servant be blessed forever.
23 Therefore now, LORD, let the thing that you have spoken concerning your servant and concerning his house be established forever, and do as you have said.
24 Let it even be established, that your name may be magnified forever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel: and let the house of David your servant be established before you.
25 For you, O my God, have told your servant that you will build him a house: therefore your servant has found in his heart to pray before you.
26 And now, LORD, you are God, and have promised this goodness to your servant:
14 And the king turned his face around and blessed all the congregation of Israel; (and all the congregation of Israel stood;)
15 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David my father, and has with his hand fulfilled it, saying,
27 But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built?
28 Yet have respect to the prayer of your servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer, which your servant prays before you today:
29 That your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which you have said, My name shall be there: that you may listen to the prayer which your servant shall make toward this place.
4 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who has with his hands fulfilled what he spoke with his mouth to my father David, saying,
20 And the LORD has performed his word that he spoke, and I have risen up in place of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built a house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
21 And I have set there a place for the ark, in which is the covenant of the LORD, which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.
4 That the Lord may continue His word which He spoke concerning me, saying, If your children take heed to their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail you a man on the throne of Israel.
11 Now, my son, the LORD be with you; and prosper you, and build the house of the LORD your God, as he has said of you.
8 And Solomon said to God, You have shown great mercy to David my father, and have made me to reign in his place.
9 Now, O LORD God, let your promise to David my father be established: for you have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.
10 The LORD therefore has performed his word that he has spoken; for I have risen up in the place of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
17 And it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
18 And the LORD said to David my father, Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.
38 And it shall be, if you will listen to all that I command you, and will walk in my ways, and do what is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with you, and build you a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel to you.
7 Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
8 But the LORD said to David my father, Because it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well in that it was in your heart:
40 Now, my God, I beseech you, let your eyes be open, and let your ears be attentive to the prayer that is made in this place.
5 And behold, I plan to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spoke to David my father, saying, Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, he shall build a house for my name.
5 Then I will establish the throne of your kingdom upon Israel forever, as I promised to David your father, saying, There shall not fail you a man upon the throne of Israel.
59 And let these my words, with which I have made supplication before the LORD, be near to the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:
19 And this was yet a small thing in your sight, O Lord GOD; but you have spoken also of your servant's house for a great while to come. And is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD?
20 And what can David say more to you? for you, Lord GOD, know your servant.
21 For your word's sake, and according to your own heart, you have done all these great things, to make your servant know them.
16 And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my house, that you have brought me this far?
12 As for this house which you are building, if you will walk in my statutes and execute my judgments and keep all my commandments to walk in them, then I will fulfill my word with you, which I spoke to David your father:
18 Then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, as I have covenanted with David your father, saying, You shall not fail to have a man to be ruler in Israel.
52 That your eyes may be open to the supplication of your servant, and to the supplication of your people Israel, to listen to them in all that they call for to you.
7 Now therefore thus shall you say to my servant David, Thus says the LORD of hosts, I took you from the sheepfold, even from following the sheep, that you should be ruler over my people Israel:
20 And you, my lord, O king, the eyes of all Israel are upon you, that you should tell them who shall sit on the throne of my lord the king after him.
7 And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build a house unto the name of the LORD my God:
27 Has this thing been done by my lord the king, and you have not shown it to your servant, who should sit on the throne of my lord the king after him?
