4 And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.

8 But the LORD said to David my father, Because it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well in that it was in your heart:
1 Then David said, This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.
2 And David commanded to gather together the foreigners who were in the land of Israel; and he appointed masons to cut hewn stones to build the house of God.

18 And Solomon's builders and Hiram's builders and the stonecutters quarried them; so they prepared timber and stones to build the house.

10 The LORD therefore has performed his word that he has spoken; for I have risen up in the place of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
4 And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, 'In Jerusalem I will put my name.'
13 I have surely built you a house to dwell in, a settled place for you to abide in forever.
4 Behold, I build a house for the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn sweet incense before him, and for the continual showbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance forever to Israel.
2 But I have built a house of habitation for you, and a place for your dwelling forever.
14 So Solomon built the house and finished it.
3 And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD to its place, which he had prepared for it.
13 Then Solomon came from his journey to the high place that was at Gibeon to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the congregation, and reigned over Israel.
