1Now when Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.

6Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build a house for the LORD God of Israel.
7And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build a house unto the name of the LORD my God:
12King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all she desired, whatever she asked, besides what she had brought to the king. So she turned and went back to her own land, she and her servants.
15This is the reason for the levy which king Solomon raised; to build the house of the LORD, and his own house, and Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.
7In that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, Ask what I shall give you.
8And Solomon said to God, You have shown great mercy to David my father, and have made me to reign in his place.
15And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and offered burnt offerings, and offered peace offerings, and made a feast for all his servants.
1And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the LORD his God was with him, and magnified him exceedingly.
12Then Solomon offered burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,
19And give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies, and Your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for which I have made provision.
13Then Solomon came from his journey to the high place that was at Gibeon to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the congregation, and reigned over Israel.
22King Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

25And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel and bestowed upon him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.
9So he built the house and finished it, and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar.
1And it happened, when the king sat in his house, and the LORD had given him rest around from all his enemies;
1Furthermore, King David said to all the assembly, Solomon my son, whom alone God has chosen, is still young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.
2But the people sacrificed at high places, because there was no house built for the name of the LORD until those days.
10The LORD therefore has performed his word that he has spoken; for I have risen up in the place of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
2But I have built a house of habitation for you, and a place for your dwelling forever.
10Take heed now; for the LORD has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.
54And it was so, that when Solomon had finished praying all this prayer and supplication to the LORD, he rose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.
38And in the eleventh year, in the month of Bul, which is the eighth month, the house was finished throughout all its parts and according to all its design. Thus he took seven years in building it.
11Now, my son, the LORD be with you; and prosper you, and build the house of the LORD your God, as he has said of you.
13I have surely built you a house to dwell in, a settled place for you to abide in forever.
