And Solomon sent to Huram, the king of Tyre, saying, As you dealt with David my father, and sent him cedars to build a house to dwell in, so deal with me.

11Then Huram, the king of Tyre, answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the LORD has loved his people, he has made you king over them.
12Huram said moreover, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, who has given to King David a wise son, endowed with prudence and understanding, that might build a house for the LORD, and a house for his kingdom.
13And now I have sent a skillful man, endowed with understanding, Huram my father's,
14The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skillful to work in gold, and in silver, in bronze, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to engrave any manner of engraving, and to devise every design that shall be put to him, with your skillful men, and with the skillful men of my lord David your father.
15Now therefore the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, which my lord has spoken of, let him send to his servants:
16And we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as you need, and we will bring it to you in rafts by sea to Joppa; and you shall carry it up to Jerusalem.
1Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, along with cedar timber, masons, and carpenters, to build him a house.

7And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, he rejoiced greatly and said, Blessed be the LORD today, who has given David a wise son over this great people.
8And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have considered the things you sent to me for, and I will do all your desire concerning cedar and fir timber.
9My servants shall bring them down from Lebanon to the sea; I will convey them by sea in floats to the place you appoint, and will have them unloaded there, and you shall receive them, and you shall fulfill my desire by providing food for my household.
10So Hiram gave Solomon cedar trees and fir trees according to all his desire.
11And Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat for food for his household, and twenty measures of pure oil; this was given by Solomon to Hiram year by year.
12And the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as He promised, and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon, and the two made a covenant together.

13And King Solomon sent and brought Hiram out of Tyre.

12As for this house which you are building, if you will walk in my statutes and execute my judgments and keep all my commandments to walk in them, then I will fulfill my word with you, which I spoke to David your father:
1And Solomon resolved to build a house for the name of the LORD, and a house for his kingdom.
2And Solomon selected seventy thousand men to bear burdens, and eighty thousand to cut stone in the mountain, and three thousand six hundred to oversee them.
4Also cedar trees in abundance, for the Sidonians and those of Tyre brought much cedar wood to David.
5And David said, Solomon my son is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the LORD must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and glory throughout all nations: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.
6Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build a house for the LORD God of Israel.
7And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build a house unto the name of the LORD my God:
1And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, during which Solomon had built the house of the LORD and his own house,
2That the cities which Huram had restored to Solomon, Solomon built them, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.
6And Solomon said, You have shown to your servant David my father great mercy, as he walked before you in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with you; and you have kept for him this great kindness, that you have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.
10And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, when Solomon had built the two houses, the house of the LORD, and the king's house,
11(Now Hiram the king of Tyre had furnished Solomon with cedar trees and fir trees, and with gold, according to all his desire,) that king Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.
8And Solomon said to God, You have shown great mercy to David my father, and have made me to reign in his place.
4Behold, I build a house for the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn sweet incense before him, and for the continual showbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance forever to Israel.
2He also built the house of the forest of Lebanon; its length was one hundred cubits, and its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.
47But Solomon built Him a house.
10He shall build a house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.
11Now, my son, the LORD be with you; and prosper you, and build the house of the LORD your God, as he has said of you.
19And give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies, and Your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for which I have made provision.
10Take heed now; for the LORD has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.
1Furthermore, King David said to all the assembly, Solomon my son, whom alone God has chosen, is still young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.
27And Hiram sent his servants, seamen who had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon.
1Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the LORD appeared to David his father, in the place that David had prepared on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
6Wherever I have walked with all Israel, did I speak a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have you not built me a house of cedar?
