15 And the angel of the LORD said to Elijah, Go down with him; do not be afraid of him. So he arose and went down with him to the king.
4 And Elijah said to him, Elisha, stay here, I pray you; for the LORD has sent me to Jericho. And he said, As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you. So they came to Jericho.
6 And Elijah said to him, Stay here, I pray you; for the LORD has sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you. And they both went on.

10 And he said, I have been very zealous for the LORD God of hosts, for the children of Israel have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left, and they seek my life, to take it away.
11 And he said, Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD. And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake.
31 Then he said, God do so and more also to me, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall remain on him today.
24 And call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God who answers by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.
15 And when the sons of the prophets who were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.
9 Then the king sent to him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him, and behold, he sat on the top of a hill. And he spoke to him, Man of God, the king has said, Come down.
