14And they went up to the city: and when they came into the city, behold, Samuel came out towards them, to go up to the high place.
15Now the LORD had told Samuel in his ear a day before Saul came, saying,
16Tomorrow about this time I will send you a man out of the land of Benjamin, and you shall anoint him to be captain over my people Israel, that he may save my people from the hand of the Philistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry has come to me.
17And when Samuel saw Saul, the LORD said to him, Behold the man who I spoke to you of! this same shall reign over my people.
14But now your kingdom shall not continue: the LORD has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the LORD has appointed him to be captain over His people, because you have not kept what the LORD commanded you.
13Therefore Saul removed him from himself, and made him his captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people.
