Then he said, I have sinned: yet honor me now, I pray you, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD your God.

8And David said to God, I have sinned greatly because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech you, remove the iniquity of your servant; for I have acted very foolishly.
13And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said to him, Blessed are you of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD.
14And Samuel said, What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?
15And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice to the LORD your God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.
16Then Samuel said to Saul, Stay, and I will tell you what the LORD said to me this night. And he said to him, Speak on.
29And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for He is not a man, that He should repent.
17And David spoke to the LORD when he saw the angel who struck the people, and said, Behold, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have they done? let Your hand, I pray You, be against me, and against my father's house.
10Then came the word of the LORD to Samuel, saying,
11It grieves Me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried to the LORD all night.
20For your servant knows that I have sinned; therefore, behold, I am the first this day of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my lord the king.
18And he said, "Why does my lord pursue after his servant? What have I done? Or what evil is in my hand?
19Now, therefore, please let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the LORD has stirred you up against me, let Him accept an offering. But if it is the children of men, cursed are they before the LORD, for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, 'Go, serve other gods.'
10And David's heart struck him after he had numbered the people. And David said to the LORD, I have sinned greatly in what I have done: and now, I beg You, O LORD, take away the iniquity of Your servant; for I have done very foolishly.
9And he said, What have I sinned, that you would deliver your servant into the hand of Ahab, to slay me?
17And David said to God, Was it not I who commanded the people to be numbered? It is I who have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done? Let your hand, I pray, O LORD my God, be on me, and on my father's house; but not on your people, that they should be afflicted.
21And Saul said, Blessed be you of the LORD; for you have compassion on me.
5And Samuel said, Gather all Israel to Mizpah, and I will pray for you to the LORD.
19Why then did you not obey the voice of the LORD, but flew upon the spoil, and did evil in the sight of the LORD?
20And Saul said to Samuel, Yes, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.
5I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD, and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
16Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste, and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God and against you.
