10 And David arose and fled that day for fear of Saul, and went to Achish the king of Gath.
27 Therefore David arose and went, he and his men, and killed two hundred men of the Philistines; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full count to the king, that he might be the king's son-in-law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter as a wife.
28 And Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David, and that Michal, Saul's daughter, loved him.
20 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal, the daughter of Saul, came out to meet David and said, How glorious was the king of Israel today, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of the maids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!
22 And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray you, stand before me, for he has found favor in my sight.
23 And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took a harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.
3 And Saul camped on the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon, by the road. But David remained in the wilderness, and he saw that Saul had come after him into the wilderness.
4 David therefore sent out spies, and knew that Saul had indeed come.
5 And David arose and came to the place where Saul had camped. And David saw where Saul lay, and Abner the son of Ner, the captain of his army. Saul lay within the camp, and the people were camped around him.
21 And the woman came to Saul, and saw that he was very troubled, and said to him, Behold, your maidservant has obeyed your voice, and I have put my life in my hand and have listened to your words which you spoke to me.
7 So David restrained his servants with these words and did not allow them to rise against Saul. But Saul rose up out of the cave and went on his way.
22 And David swore to Saul. And Saul went home; but David and his men went up to the stronghold.
11 And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will strike David even to the wall with it. And David avoided his presence twice.
12 And Saul was afraid of David, because the LORD was with him, and had departed from Saul.
26 And Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain; and David made haste to get away for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men surrounded David and his men, intending to capture them.
17 And Saul recognized David's voice and said, "Is this your voice, my son David?" And David said, "It is my voice, my lord, O king."
4 And it was told to Saul that David had fled to Gath, and he sought no more for him.
12 And David took these words to heart and was very afraid of Achish the king of Gath.
6 When Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him, (now Saul stayed in Gibeah under a tree in Ramah, having his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing about him;)

13 And Saul said to him, Why have you conspired against me, you and the son of Jesse, in that you have given him bread, and a sword, and have enquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
17 And Saul said to David, Behold my elder daughter Merab, her will I give you as your wife: only be valiant for me, and fight the LORD'S battles. For Saul said, Let not my hand be upon him, but let the hand of the Philistines be upon him.
14 And David abode in the wilderness in strongholds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.
15 And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life; and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in a forest.
1 And it came to pass, when Saul returned from following the Philistines, that it was told to him, saying, Behold, David is in the wilderness of Engedi.
29 And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David, that Michal, the daughter of Saul, looking out at a window, saw King David dancing and playing: and she despised him in her heart.
