39 Then hear from the heavens, even from your dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive your people who have sinned against you.
36 And now therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, of which you say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;

12 And the LORD said to Moses, Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come upon the land of Egypt and eat every herb of the land, all that the hail has left.
15 So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning until the appointed time, and seventy thousand men died from Dan to Beersheba.
42 All your trees and fruit of your land shall the locust consume.
