Moreover concerning the foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, but has come from a far country for your great name's sake, and your mighty hand, and your stretched out arm; if they come and pray in this house;

34 If your people go out to war against their enemies by the way that you shall send them, and they pray to you toward this city which you have chosen, and the house which I have built for your name;
35 Then hear from the heavens their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.
24 And if your people Israel be defeated before the enemy, because they have sinned against you, and shall return and confess your name, and pray and make supplication before you in this house;
25 Then hear from the heavens, and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them again to the land which you gave to them and to their fathers.
26 When the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against you; yet if they pray toward this place, and confess your name, and turn from their sin, when you afflict them;

19 Have respect therefore to the prayer of your servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to listen to the cry and the prayer which your servant prays before you:
20 That your eyes may be open upon this house day and night, upon the place where you have said that you would put your name there; to listen to the prayer which your servant prays toward this place.
21 Listen therefore to the supplications of your servant, and of your people Israel, which they shall make toward this place: hear from your dwelling place, even from heaven, and when you hear, forgive.
38 If they return to you with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, where they have been carried captive, and pray toward their land, which you gave to their fathers, and toward the city which you have chosen, and toward the house which I have built for your name:
39 Then hear from the heavens, even from your dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive your people who have sinned against you.

9 If disaster comes upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and in Your presence (for Your name is in this house) and cry out to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save us.
33 When your people Israel are defeated before the enemy, because they have sinned against you, and shall turn again to you, and confess your name, and pray, and make supplication to you in this house:
34 Then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them again into the land which you gave to their fathers.
31 That they may fear you, to walk in your ways, as long as they live in the land which you gave to our fathers.
27 But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built?

6 Also the sons of the foreigner, who join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one who keeps the sabbath from polluting it, and takes hold of my covenant;
7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.
9 But if you turn to Me, and keep My commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out to the farthest part of the heaven, yet I will gather them from there, and will bring them to the place that I have chosen to set My name there.
26 And let your name be magnified forever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God over Israel: and let the house of your servant David be established before you.
27 For you, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, have revealed to your servant, saying, I will build you a house: therefore your servant has found in his heart to pray this prayer to you.
15 Now My eyes shall be open, and My ears attentive to the prayer made in this place.
16 For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart shall be there perpetually.
6 Let Your ear now be attentive, and Your eyes open, that You may hear the prayer of Your servant, which I pray before You now, day and night, for the children of Israel Your servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against You: both I and my father's house have sinned.
13 And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.
2 And David commanded to gather together the foreigners who were in the land of Israel; and he appointed masons to cut hewn stones to build the house of God.
12 And he stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands:
3 And the king turned his face, and blessed the whole congregation of Israel; and all the congregation of Israel stood.
20 Then I will uproot them from My land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for My name, I will cast out of My sight, and will make it a proverb and a byword among all nations.
21 And this house, which is exalted, shall be an astonishment to everyone who passes by it; so that they will say, Why has the LORD done this to this land and to this house?
