13For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it.
14And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
19For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more.
20And to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win the Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law;
21To those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law.
22To the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that I might by all means save some.
23And this I do for the sake of the gospel, that I may be a partaker of it with you.
4My manner of life from my youth, which was at the beginning among my own nation at Jerusalem, all the Jews know;
4For while one says, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are you not carnal?
10As the truth of Christ is in me, no one shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
17Since then God gave them the same gift as he did to us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; who was I that I could withstand God?
15We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
11To which I am appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
14And most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
3For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:
4Who are Israelites; to whom belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises;
13For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,
14if by any means I may provoke to emulation those who are my flesh and save some of them.
1Be imitators of me, just as I am of Christ.
30Having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear to be in me.
6But from those who seemed to be something (whatever they were, it makes no difference to me: God accepts no man's person), for those who seemed to be something added nothing to me:
26In journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils from my own countrymen, in perils from the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;
6For though I would desire to boast, I shall not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But now I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above that which he sees me to be, or that he hears of me.
15So, as much as is in me, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are at Rome also.
17But the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel.
29And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
8Therefore, though I might be very bold in Christ to command you to do what is fitting,
