5Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee;
6Regarding zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness in the law, blameless.
7But what things were gain to me, those I have counted as loss for Christ.
27For this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.
28Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers.
9As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
10For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a servant of Christ.

12Brethren, I urge you to become like me, for I became like you: you have not injured me at all.

15But I have used none of these things, nor have I written these things that it should be done so to me; for it would be better for me to die than that anyone should make my boasting void.
9And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to you among the Gentiles, and sing to your name.
24O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?
