16 So Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to Jezreel; for Joram lay there. And Ahaziah king of Judah had come down to see Joram.
17 And there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he saw the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take a horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it peace?
29 And in the eleventh year of Joram the son of Ahab, Ahaziah began to reign over Judah.
40 And furthermore, you have sent for men to come from afar, to whom a messenger was sent; and, behold, they came: for whom you washed yourself, painted your eyes, and adorned yourself with ornaments,

30 And when you are ruined, what will you do? Though you clothe yourself with crimson, though you adorn yourself with ornaments of gold, though you paint your face, in vain shall you make yourself beautiful; your lovers will despise you, they will seek your life.
11 And the men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who were the inhabitants of his city, did as Jezebel had sent to them, and as it was written in the letters she had sent to them.
14 And that she increased her harlotries: for when she saw men portrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed with vermilion,
5 And the LORD said to Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam comes to ask a thing of you for her son; for he is sick: this and that shall you say to her: for it shall be, when she comes in, that she shall pretend to be another woman.
6 And it was so, when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, you wife of Jeroboam; why do you pretend to be another? for I am sent to you with heavy tidings.
11 So Jehu killed all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolk, and his priests, until he left none remaining.
12 And he arose and departed, and came to Samaria. And as he was at the shearing house on the way,
13 Jehu met with the brothers of Ahaziah king of Judah, and said, Who are you? And they answered, We are the brothers of Ahaziah; and we go down to greet the children of the king and the children of the queen.
8 And it happened that when Jehu was executing judgment upon the house of Ahab and found the princes of Judah and the sons of Ahaziah's brothers who ministered to Ahaziah, he killed them.
25 But there was none like Ahab, who sold himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.
23 And Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal, and said to the worshippers of Baal, Search and see that none of the servants of the LORD are here with you, but only the worshippers of Baal.
2 As soon as this letter comes to you, seeing your master's sons are with you, and there are with you chariots and horses, a fortified city also, and armor;
29 And king Joram went back to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.
