8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab every male, and him who is shut up and left in Israel:
9 And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:
10 And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the plot of ground at Jezreel, and there shall be no one to bury her. And he opened the door and fled.
11 Then Jehu went out to the servants of his master: and one said to him, Is all well? Why did this mad fellow come to you? And he said to them, You know the man and his message.
27 But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu pursued him, and said, Strike him also in the chariot. And they did so at the going up to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo and died there.
17 And it shall come to pass, that whoever escapes the sword of Hazael, Jehu shall slay; and whoever escapes the sword of Jehu, Elisha shall slay.
24 And Jehu drew a bow with his full strength, and struck Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sank down in his chariot.
25 Then said Jehu to Bidkar his captain, Pick him up, and throw him in the plot of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for remember how, when I and you rode together after Ahab his father, the LORD uttered this oracle against him;

30 And the LORD said to Jehu, Because you have done well in executing what is right in my eyes, and have done to the house of Ahab according to all that was in my heart, your children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.
31 But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the LORD God of Israel with all his heart: for he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.
34 Now the rest of the acts of Jehu, and all that he did, and all his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
35 And Jehu slept with his fathers: and they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son reigned in his place.

11 As soon as he began to reign and sat on his throne, he struck down all the house of Baasha; he left him not a single male, neither of his kinsmen nor of his friends.
12 Thus Zimri destroyed all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke against Baasha by Jehu the prophet,
5 And he who was over the house, and he who was over the city, the elders also, and those who raised the children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are your servants, and will do all that you bid us; we will not make any king: do what is good in your eyes.
6 Then he wrote a second letter to them, saying, If you are mine, and if you will listen to my voice, take the heads of the men your master's sons, and come to me at Jezreel by tomorrow at this time. Now the king's sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, who raised them.
17 They invaded Judah, breached it, and carried away all the possessions found in the king's house, along with his sons and his wives, so there was not a son left to him except Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.

10 Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him who urinates against the wall, and him who is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man takes away dung, until it is all gone.
7 He left to Jehoahaz of the people only fifty horsemen, ten chariots, and ten thousand foot soldiers; for the king of Syria had destroyed them and made them like the dust by threshing.
36 Therefore they came back and told him. And he said, This is the word of the LORD, which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the plot of Jezreel dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel:
24 The one who dies of Ahab in the city the dogs shall eat; and the one who dies in the field the birds of the air shall eat.
40 And Elijah said to them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.
