9But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how do you turn again to the weak and beggarly principles, to which you desire again to be in bondage?
12But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption;
13And will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, reveling in their own deceptions while they banquet with you;
14Having eyes full of adultery and unable to cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices and are accursed children.
15They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
15To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.
16They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.
19Who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

9But they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifested to all, as theirs also was.
3How shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those that heard him;
8Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we have worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
21What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
