8Go up to the mountains, bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it and be glorified, says the LORD.
9You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why? says the LORD of hosts. Because of My house that is in ruins, while each of you runs to his own house.
21Therefore thus says the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumbling blocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbor and his friend shall perish.
11And I will cut off the cities of your land and throw down all your strongholds.
10Go up upon her walls, and destroy; but do not make a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD'S.

6Then the LORD said to me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear the words of this covenant, and do them.
10And you have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses you have broken down to fortify the wall.
9In the same day also will I punish all those that leap over the threshold, who fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit.
13Therefore their goods shall become plunder, and their houses a desolation: they shall build houses, but not inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine from them.
12Therefore for your sake Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
41And he shall cause the house to be scraped all around, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off outside the city into an unclean place:
6Then I will make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.
17Behold, the LORD will carry you away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover you.

13Behold, I am against you, O inhabitant of the valley and rock of the plain, says the LORD; who say, Who shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our dwellings?
