21Then he was driven from the sons of men; his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. 12Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, solving of riddles, and dissolving of doubts were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will show the interpretation.
13Then was Daniel brought in before the king. And the king spoke and said to Daniel, "Are you that Daniel, who is one of the captives of Judah, whom the king my father brought out of Judah?
1In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions in his mind while on his bed. Then he wrote the dream down, and told the sum of the matters.

12For this reason, the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.
13And the decree went out that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his companions to be slain.

5And the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho: and all his army scattered from him.
