4 And it happened, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,

14 Therefore the LORD has watched over the calamity, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all His works which He does: for we have not obeyed His voice.
15 And now, O Lord our God, who brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and made Yourself a name, as it is this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
16 O Lord, according to all Your righteousness, I plead with You, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain: because for our sins and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become a reproach to all around us.
17 Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of Your servant, and his supplications, and cause Your face to shine upon Your sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.
18 O my God, incline Your ear, and hear; open Your eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name: for we do not present our supplications before You for our righteousness, but for Your great mercies.
19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, listen and act; do not delay, for Your own sake, O my God: for Your city and Your people are called by Your name.
20 And while I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my petition before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God;
3 And I set my face toward the Lord God, to seek by prayer and petitions, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes:
31 Nevertheless, in Your great mercies, You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them; for You are a gracious and merciful God.
32 Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keeps covenant and mercy, do not let all the hardship seem little before You that has come upon us, our kings, our princes, our priests, our prophets, our forefathers, and all Your people, from the days of the kings of Assyria until this day.
33 However, You are just in all that has come upon us; for You have done right, but we have acted wickedly.
5 We have sinned and committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and from Your judgments:
5 And at the evening sacrifice I arose from my heaviness, and having torn my garment and my mantle, I fell upon my knees and spread out my hands to the LORD my God,
6 And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to You, my God, for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass has grown up to the heavens.
10 Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that His fierce wrath may turn away from us.
8 O Lord, to us belongs confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against You.
9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him;
25 So I fell down before the LORD forty days and forty nights, as I fell down at the first; because the LORD had said he would destroy you.
26 I prayed therefore to the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, do not destroy your people and your inheritance, which you have redeemed through your greatness, which you have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
10 And now, O our God, what shall we say after this? For we have forsaken Your commandments,
23 And I pleaded with the LORD at that time, saying,
5 I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD, and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
2 The descendants of Israel separated themselves from all foreigners and stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their ancestors.
3 They stood in their place and read from the book of the law of the LORD their God for a fourth of the day; and for another fourth they confessed and worshiped the LORD their God.
19 For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, with which the LORD was angry against you to destroy you. But the LORD listened to me at that time also.
14 And said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven or on earth, who keeps covenant and shows mercy unto your servants, that walk before you with all their hearts:
8 I cried out to you, O LORD; and to the LORD I made supplication.
4 Then the king said to me, What do you request? So I prayed to the God of heaven.
11 For Your name's sake, O LORD, pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
9 And said to them, Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, to whom you sent me to present your supplication before him;
23 And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above or on earth beneath, who keeps covenant and mercy with your servants that walk before you with all their heart:
13 And after all that has come upon us for our evil deeds and for our great trespass, seeing that You our God have punished us less than our iniquities deserve and have given us such deliverance as this;
19 Have respect therefore to the prayer of your servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to listen to the cry and the prayer which your servant prays before you:
9 Know therefore that the LORD your God, he is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and mercy with those who love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
20 We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness and the iniquity of our fathers; for we have sinned against You.
2 And he prayed to the LORD, and said, I pray you, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was still in my country? Therefore I fled before to Tarshish; for I knew that you are a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and relent from doing harm.

3 And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beg You, how I have walked before You in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done what is good in Your sight. And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
59 And let these my words, with which I have made supplication before the LORD, be near to the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:
10 And showing mercy to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
