16Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you; that your days may be long, and that it may go well with you, in the land which the LORD your God gives you.
18Who is a God like you, that pardons iniquity, and passes by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in mercy.
31(For the LORD your God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake you, neither destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which he swore to them.
10If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in His love.
17And there shall cling nothing of the cursed thing to your hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and show you mercy, and have compassion upon you, and multiply you, as he has sworn to your fathers;
19And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.
12Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.

3If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments and do them;

11And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endures forever:
12With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm: for his mercy endures forever.
