Out of heaven he made you to hear his voice, that he might instruct you: and upon earth he showed you his great fire; and you heard his words out of the midst of the fire.

32For ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from one side of heaven to the other, whether there has been any such thing as this great thing is, or has been heard like it?
33Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and live?
34Or has God attempted to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, by war, by a mighty hand, by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
35It was shown to you, that you might know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him.
4The LORD talked with you face to face on the mountain out of the midst of the fire,
5(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to show you the word of the LORD: for you were afraid because of the fire, and did not go up into the mountain;) saying,
37And because he loved your fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought you out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;
38To drive out nations from before you greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.
22These words the LORD spoke to all your assembly on the mountain out of the midst of the fire, the cloud, and the thick darkness, with a great voice: and He added no more. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone, and delivered them to me.
23And it happened, when you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain burned with fire,) that you came near to me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;
24And you said, Behold, the LORD our God has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God does talk with man, and he lives.
25Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die.
26For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?
27Go near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak to us all that the LORD our God shall speak to you; and we will hear it, and do it.
19And lest you lift up your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, should be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD your God has divided to all nations under the whole heaven.
20But the LORD has taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be to him a people of inheritance, as you are this day.
22And the LORD said to Moses, 'Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: You have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
16According to all that you desired of the LORD your God in Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, nor let me see this great fire anymore, lest I die.
33Who went in the way before you, to search out a place for you to pitch your tents, in fire by night to show you by what way you should go, and in a cloud by day.
34And the LORD heard the sound of your words, and was angry, and swore, saying,
4Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all that I command you; so shall you be my people, and I will be your God:
13You came down also on Mount Sinai, and spoke with them from heaven, and gave them just statutes and true laws, good statutes and commandments.
2And you shall remember all the way which the LORD your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, and to test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments, or not.
3And he humbled you, and allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you did not know, neither did your fathers know; that he might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of the LORD does man live.
4Your clothing did not wear out upon you, neither did your foot swell, these forty years.
5You shall also consider in your heart, that, as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your God disciplines you.
7The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.
16Who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, that he might humble you, and that he might test you, to do you good at your latter end;
3And Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him out of the mountain, saying, This is what you shall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:
4You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I carried you on eagles' wings, and brought you to myself.
31When Moses saw it, he marveled at the sight; and as he drew near to observe, the voice of the Lord came to him,

19And to make you high above all nations which he has made, in praise, and in name, and in honor; and that you may be a holy people to the LORD your God, as he has spoken.
31And in the wilderness, where you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.
13And Moses said to the LORD, Then the Egyptians will hear it, (for you brought up this people in your might from among them;)
14And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that you LORD are among this people, that you LORD are seen face to face, and that your cloud stands over them, and that you go before them, by day in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.
24For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.
4And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here I am.
1And God spoke all these words, saying,
18And Mount Sinai was all in smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire, and the smoke went up like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
2And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, but the bush was not consumed.
