12 And Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God, and Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat bread with Moses' father-in-law before God.
13 And it happened on the next day that Moses sat to judge the people, and the people stood by Moses from morning until evening.
14 When Moses' father-in-law saw all that he did for the people, he said, What is this thing that you are doing for the people? Why do you sit alone, and all the people stand by you from morning to evening?
15 And Moses said to his father-in-law, Because the people come to me to inquire of God.
16 When they have a dispute, they come to me, and I judge between one and another, and make them know the statutes of God and His laws.
17 And Moses' father-in-law said to him, The thing that you do is not good.
2 Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her back,
1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, to Horeb.
24 So Moses listened to the voice of his father-in-law and did all that he said.
27 And Moses let his father-in-law depart, and he went his way to his own land.
18 And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said to him, Let me go, I pray, and return to my brethren who are in Egypt, and see whether they are yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.
19 And the LORD said to Moses in Midian, Go, return to Egypt, for all the men are dead who sought your life.
20 And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon a donkey, and he returned to the land of Egypt, and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
29 And Moses said to Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses' father-in-law, We are journeying to the place which the LORD said, I will give it to you: come with us, and we will do you good: for the LORD has spoken good concerning Israel.
13 And Moses said to the LORD, Then the Egyptians will hear it, (for you brought up this people in your might from among them;)
15 When Pharaoh heard of this, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of Midian, and he sat down by a well.
16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came and drew water and filled the troughs to water their father's flock.
17 And the shepherds came and drove them away, but Moses stood up and helped them and watered their flock.
18 When they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that you have come so soon today?
1 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
8 When Jacob came into Egypt, and your fathers cried to the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, who brought your fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place.
10 Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring forth my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.
3 And Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him out of the mountain, saying, This is what you shall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:
31 And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.
1 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
7 And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before them all these words which the LORD commanded him.
17 And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the lower part of the mount.
3 And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover, the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.
13 And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a charge to the children of Israel, and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
2 And Moses called to all Israel, and said to them, You have seen all that the LORD did before your eyes in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land;
1 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and who did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:
6 And behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought to his brethren a Midianite woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the entrance of the tabernacle of the congregation.
