8 And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they ate.
14 And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that you LORD are among this people, that you LORD are seen face to face, and that your cloud stands over them, and that you go before them, by day in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.
4 He received them from their hand, and fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made it a molten calf: and they said, "These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt."
6 They rose up early the next day, offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
18 And he gave to Moses, when he had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.
5 And he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the LORD.
11 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
30 And Moses returned to the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
10 But all the congregation threatened to stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.
17 And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the lower part of the mount.
24 And you said, Behold, the LORD our God has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God does talk with man, and he lives.
11 and that you may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the Lord has spoken to them by the hand of Moses.'

14 And the men took some of their provisions, and did not ask counsel from the mouth of the LORD.

20 He took the calf which they had made, burned it in the fire, and ground it to powder, scattered it on the water, and made the children of Israel drink it.
12 And the LORD spoke to you out of the midst of the fire: you heard the voice of the words, but saw no form; only you heard a voice.
15 You gave them bread from heaven for their hunger, and brought forth water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promised them that they would go in to possess the land which You had sworn to give them.
