16 And all the silver and gold that you can find in all the province of Babylon, with the freewill offering of the people, and of the priests, offering willingly for the house of their God which is in Jerusalem:
17 That you may buy speedily with this money bulls, rams, lambs, with their grain offerings and their drink offerings, and offer them upon the altar of the house of your God which is in Jerusalem.
18 And whatever seems good to you, and to your brethren, to do with the rest of the silver and the gold, do according to the will of your God.
19 The vessels also that are given to you for the service of the house of your God, deliver before the God of Jerusalem.
20 And whatever more shall be needed for the house of your God, which you shall have occasion to bestow, bestow it out of the king's treasure house.
21 And I, even I Artaxerxes the king, do make a decree to all the treasurers who are beyond the river, that whatever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, shall require of you, it be done speedily,
8 Moreover I make a decree as to what you shall do for the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that from the king's goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, expenses be given to these men, so that they are not hindered.
9 And whatever they need—young bulls, rams, and lambs for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests who are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail:
23 Whatever is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be diligently done for the house of the God of heaven: for why should there be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons?
24 Also we certify you, that concerning any of the priests and Levites, singers, gatekeepers, Nethinims, or ministers of this house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom, upon them.
25 And you, Ezra, according to the wisdom of your God that is in your hand, set magistrates and judges, who may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of your God; and teach those who do not know them.
26 And whoever will not do the law of your God, and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be to death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment.
27 Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem:
25 And weighed out to them the silver, the gold, and the vessels, the offering for the house of our God, which the king, his counselors, his lords, and all Israel present had offered:
26 I weighed into their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels worth one hundred talents, and of gold one hundred talents;
27 Also twenty basins of gold, worth a thousand darics; and two vessels of fine copper, as precious as gold.
70 And some of the chiefs of the fathers gave to the work. The governor gave to the treasury a thousand drams of gold, fifty basins, five hundred thirty priests' garments.

14 Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD one hundred thousand talents of gold, and a million talents of silver; and of bronze and iron beyond weight, for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and you may add to them.
7 And they gave them drink in vessels of gold (the vessels being different one from another), and royal wine in abundance, according to the state of the king.
8 And the drinking was according to the law; no one was compelled, for the king had appointed to all the officials of his house that they should do according to each man's pleasure.

34 All was counted and weighed, and all the weight was recorded at that time.
