17They zealously court you, but not for good; yes, they want to exclude you, that you may have zeal for them.
21You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God.
6From which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk,
9But, beloved, we are convinced of better things concerning you, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner.
38And now I say to you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work is of men, it will come to nothing.
18For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through wantonness, those who have barely escaped from those who live in error.
17This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind,
2And you are arrogant, and have not rather mourned, so that he who has done this deed might be removed from among you.
