Genesis 16:11
And the angel of the LORD said to her, Behold, you are with child, and shall bear a son, and shall call his name Ishmael, because the LORD has heard your affliction.

14Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.
15And Hagar bore Abram a son; and Abram called his son's name, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael.
16And Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram.
18And Abraham said to God, Oh that Ishmael might live before you!
19And God said, Sarah your wife shall indeed bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him.
20And as for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold, I have blessed him and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes he shall beget, and I will make him a great nation.
21But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time next year.
12But God said to Abraham, Do not let it be grievous in your sight because of the lad and because of your bondwoman. In all that Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac shall your seed be called.
13And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is your seed.
14And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread and a bottle of water, and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away. So she departed and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.
15And the water was used up in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.
16And she went and sat down opposite him a good way off, about a bowshot away; for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. So she sat opposite him and lifted up her voice, and wept.
17And God heard the voice of the lad, and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven and said to her, What troubles you, Hagar? Fear not; for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is.
18Arise, lift up the lad and hold him with your hand, for I will make him a great nation.
12Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bore to Abraham:
3And the angel of the LORD appeared to the woman, and said to her, Behold now, you are barren and have no children: but you shall conceive and bear a son.
1Now Sarai, Abram's wife, bore him no children; and she had a maidservant, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.
2And Sarai said to Abram, Behold now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing children. I pray you, go in to my maid; it may be that I will obtain children by her. And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.
28The sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.
10Therefore she said to Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son, for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.
25And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
26On that very same day Abraham was circumcised, and Ishmael his son.
18of whom it was said, 'In Isaac your seed shall be called,'
16These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.
