And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son's venison, so that my soul may bless you. And he brought it near to him, and he ate: and he brought him wine, and he drank.

37 And Isaac answered and said to Esau, Behold, I have made him your lord, and all his brothers have I given to him for servants; and with grain and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now for you, my son?
38 And Esau said to his father, Have you but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.
14 And he went, and got them, and brought them to his mother: and his mother made savory food, such as his father loved.
1 And it happened, when Isaac was old and his eyes were dim so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son and said to him, My son: and he said to him, Here I am.
28 And Isaac loved Esau because he ate of his game, but Rebekah loved Jacob.
29 And Jacob boiled stew, and Esau came from the field, and he was faint.
30 And Esau said to Jacob, Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am faint. Therefore his name was called Edom.
11 Take, I pray you, my blessing that is brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it.
34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew; and he ate and drank, and rose up and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright.
