And Esau said, Let me now leave with you some of the people who are with me. And he said, What need is there? Let me find grace in the sight of my lord.

19And so he commanded the second, and the third, and all that followed the droves, saying, On this manner shall you speak to Esau, when you find him.
20And say moreover, Behold, your servant Jacob is behind us. For he said, I will appease him with the present that goes before me, and afterward I will see his face; perhaps he will accept me.
3And Jacob sent messengers before him to Esau his brother in the land of Seir, the country of Edom.
4And he commanded them, saying, Thus shall you speak to my lord Esau; Your servant Jacob says this, I have lived with Laban, and stayed there until now:
5And I have oxen, donkeys, flocks, and male and female servants: and I have sent to tell my lord, that I may find favor in your sight.

30And Esau said to Jacob, Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am faint. Therefore his name was called Edom.
11Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he come and attack me, and the mother with the children.
32And Esau said, Behold, I am about to die; and what profit shall this birthright be to me?
30And it happened, as soon as Isaac had finished blessing Jacob, and Jacob was scarcely gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.
16For wherein shall it be known here that I and your people have found grace in your sight? is it not in that you go with us? so shall we be separate, I and your people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
31And he said, Do not leave us, I pray you; for you know how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and you may be to us instead of eyes.
