    14So she took off her widow’s garments, covered herself with a veil, wrapped herself, and sat by the roadside in an open place, which is on the way to Timnath; for she saw that Shelah was grown up, and she had not been given to him as a wife.

    15When Judah saw her, he thought she was a prostitute, because she had covered her face.

    16He turned to her by the roadside and said, Let me come in to you; for he did not know she was his daughter-in-law. She said, What will you give me, that you may come in to me?
