    13 Tamar was told, Look, your father-in-law is going up to Timnath to shear his sheep.

    21 He asked the men of the place, Where is the prostitute who was by the roadside? They said, There has been no prostitute here.

    22 So he returned to Judah and said, I could not find her; and the men of the place said there has been no prostitute there.

    23 Judah said, Let her keep them, lest we become a laughingstock; after all, I sent the young goat, and you did not find her.

    24 About three months later, it was told Judah, Tamar your daughter-in-law has played the harlot; moreover, she is pregnant by harlotry. Judah said, Bring her out, and let her be burned.
