12Tarshish was your merchant because of the multitude of all kinds of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in your markets.
13Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were your merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in your market.
22The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were your merchants: they occupied in your fairs with the finest of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.
23Haran, Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were your merchants.
24These were your merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and embroidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among your merchandise.
25The ships of Tarshish sang of you in your market: and you were replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.
17And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall return to her wages, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.
18And her goods and her trade shall be holiness to the LORD: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.
22And all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the coastlands which are beyond the sea,
15Thus says the Lord GOD to Tyre: Shall not the isles shake at the sound of your fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in your midst?
16Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay aside their robes and put off their embroidered garments; they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground and tremble every moment, and be astonished at you.
17And they shall take up a lamentation for you, and say to you: 'How are you destroyed, that were inhabited by seafaring men, the renowned city, which was strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, who caused their terror to be on all that haunt it!'
5By your great wisdom and by your trading you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches:
4Yes, and what are you to me, O Tyre and Sidon, and all the coasts of Philistia? Do you want to repay me a recompense? And if you repay me, swiftly and speedily I will return your recompense upon your own head;
5Because you have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my precious pleasant things.
14Wail, you ships of Tarshish: for your strength is laid waste.
15And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as a harlot.
2Son of man, because Tyre has said against Jerusalem, 'Aha, she is broken, that was the gate of the peoples; she has turned to me; I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste.'
3Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and will cause many nations to come up against you, as the sea causes its waves to come up.
4And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her like the top of a rock.
11Wail, you inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all those who handle silver are cut off.
15The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, shall stand far off for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
27Your riches, and your markets, your merchandise, your mariners, and your pilots, your caulkers, and the occupiers of your merchandise, and all your men of war, who are in you, and in all your company which is in the midst of you, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of your ruin.
15The men of Dedan were your merchants; many islands were the merchandise of your hand: they brought you in exchange horns of ivory and ebony.
16Syria was your merchant by reason of the multitude of your handiworks: they occupied in your markets with emeralds, purple, embroidered work, fine linen, coral, and agate.
11And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no one buys their merchandise any more:
12Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyre, and say to him, Thus says the Lord GOD; You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
14With kings and counselors of the earth, who built ruins for themselves;
10But I will send a fire on the wall of Tyre, which shall devour its palaces.
13You who dwell upon many waters, abundant in treasures, your end has come, and the measure of your covetousness.
