6Then the word of the LORD came to the prophet Jeremiah, saying,
16Go one way or the other, either on the right hand, or on the left, wherever your face is set.
42They shall hold the bow and the spear: they are cruel, and will show no mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one set in order, like a man to the battle, against you, O daughter of Babylon.
5He shall recount his nobles: they shall stumble in their walk; they shall make haste to the wall thereof, and the defense shall be prepared.
23They shall hold the bow and spear; they are cruel and have no mercy; their voice roars like the sea; and they ride upon horses, set in array as men for war against you, O daughter of Zion.
7Therefore you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and your arm shall be uncovered, and you shall prophesy against it.
8You shall encircle the king, each with his weapons in hand, and whoever comes within the ranks, let him be killed. Stay with the king as he comes out and goes in.
