For it increases. You hunt me as a fierce lion; and again You show Yourself marvelous upon me.

3And do You open Your eyes upon such a one and bring me into judgment with You?
13I counted till morning, that as a lion, so will He break all my bones: from day to night You make an end of me.
9He lies in wait secretly, as a lion in his den; he lies in wait to catch the poor; he catches the poor when he draws him into his net.
15But in my adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together; yes, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they tore me, and did not cease:
10Remove your stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of your hand.

11He has also kindled His wrath against me and counts me as one of His enemies.
