6And they went to Joshua at the camp in Gilgal, and said to him and to the men of Israel, We have come from a far country: now therefore make a treaty with us.

32And it shall be, if you go with us, yes, it shall be, that whatever good the LORD shall do to us, the same we will do to you.
3The LORD did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive today.
13And said to them, You shall not bring the captives here, for whereas we have offended against the LORD already, you intend to add more to our sins and to our trespass, for our trespass is great, and there is fierce wrath against Israel.
