Now therefore you are cursed, and none of you shall be freed from being servants, woodcutters, and water carriers for the house of my God.

    16Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the field.

  • 45Moreover all these curses shall come upon you, and shall pursue you, and overtake you, until you are destroyed; because you did not listen to the voice of the LORD your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you:

  • 10Cursed be he who does the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he who keeps back his sword from blood.

  • 17And there shall cling nothing of the cursed thing to your hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and show you mercy, and have compassion upon you, and multiply you, as he has sworn to your fathers;

  • 16And they answered Joshua, saying, All that you command us we will do, and wherever you send us, we will go.

  • 46And you shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen forever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, you shall not rule one over another with rigor.
