27And Joshua made them that day woodcutters and water carriers for the congregation, and for the altar of the LORD, even to this day, in the place which He would choose.
2And know this day: for I speak not with your children who have not known or seen the discipline of the LORD your God, His greatness, His mighty hand, and His outstretched arm,
29And the Levite, (because he has no part nor inheritance with you,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are within your gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.
23Now therefore you are cursed, and none of you shall be freed from being servants, woodcutters, and water carriers for the house of my God.
11And you shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite that is within your gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD your God has chosen to place His name there.
13And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.
24and my wrath shall grow hot, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives shall be widows and your children fatherless.
10When you go forth to war against your enemies, and the LORD your God has delivered them into your hands, and you have taken them captive,
17Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man by lying with him.
18But all the young women who have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.
21That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
11And you shall rejoice in every good thing which the LORD your God has given to you, and to your house, you, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.
18And to the genealogy of their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation, for in their set office they sanctified themselves in holiness:
54So that the man who is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:
55So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he has nothing left him in the siege, and in the distress, with which your enemies shall distress you in all your gates.
56The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,
57And toward her young one that comes out from between her feet, and toward her children who she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and distress, with which your enemy shall distress you in your gates.
31But your little ones, which you said would be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which you have despised.
9For behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.
4For the LORD your God is he who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
3And you have seen all that the LORD your God has done to all these nations because of you; for the LORD your God is the one who has fought for you.
21He is your praise, and he is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen.
22So that the generation to come of your children that rise up after you, and the foreigner who shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD has laid upon it;
33Who went in the way before you, to search out a place for you to pitch your tents, in fire by night to show you by what way you should go, and in a cloud by day.
24Build cities for your little ones and folds for your sheep; and do what you have said.
19The great trials which your eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD your God brought you out: so shall the LORD your God do to all the people of whom you are afraid.
14And you shall rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within your gates.
7Namely, of the gods of the people which are around you, near to you, or far off from you, from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth;
19When you cut down your harvest in your field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
7For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the works of your hands; He knows your walking through this great wilderness. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing.
12And you shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you, your sons, your daughters, your male servants, your female servants, and the Levite who is within your gates, because he has no portion or inheritance with you.
15But also with him who stands here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him who is not here with us this day:
