20 Behold, O Lord, and consider to whom You have done this. Shall the women eat their offspring, the children of a span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord?

11 The LORD has accomplished his fury; he has poured out his fierce anger, and has kindled a fire in Zion, and it has devoured her foundations.
3 Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones; the daughter of my people has become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness.
4 The tongue of the nursing child clings to the roof of his mouth for thirst; the young children ask for bread, and no one breaks it for them.

31 For I have heard a voice as of a woman in labor, and the anguish as of her that brings forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewails herself, that spreads her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is wearied because of murderers.
20 Moreover you have taken your sons and your daughters, whom you have borne to me, and these have you sacrificed to them to be devoured. Is this of your whoredoms a small matter,
21 That you have slain my children and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire for them?
18 Their bows will dash the young men to pieces; and they will have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye will not spare children.
10 They uncovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and killed her with the sword: and she became notorious among women; for they had executed judgment upon her.
11 They ravished the women in Zion, the young women in the cities of Judah.

19 These two things have come upon you; who shall feel sorry for you? Desolation and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort you?

3 For thus says the LORD concerning the sons and daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers who bore them, and concerning their fathers who begot them in this land:
4 They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be mourned, nor shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth. They shall be consumed by the sword and by famine, and their carcasses shall be food for the birds of heaven and the beasts of the earth.
7 Therefore now thus says the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Why do you commit this great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and infant, out of Judah, to leave you no one to remain;
53 And you shall eat the fruit of your own body, the flesh of your sons and your daughters, which the LORD your God has given you, in the siege, and in the distress, with which your enemies shall distress you:
14 Therefore a tumult shall arise among your people, and all your fortresses shall be plundered, as Shalman plundered Beth-arbel in the day of battle: the mother was dashed in pieces on her children.
10 Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in your midst, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in you, and the whole remnant of you I will scatter into all the winds.
2 To turn aside the needy from justice and to take away the rights from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
26 O daughter of my people, clothe yourself with sackcloth, and roll in ashes; make lamentation, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation, for the destroyer shall suddenly come upon us.
11 All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for food to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider, for I have become vile.
12 Though they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them, that there shall not be a man left; yes, woe also to them when I depart from them!
16 Samaria shall become desolate; for she has rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped open.
11 When its boughs are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come and set them on fire; for it is a people of no understanding: therefore He who made them will not have mercy on them, and He who formed them will show them no favor.
18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
7 In you they have treated father and mother with contempt: in your midst they have dealt oppressively with the stranger: in you they have wronged the fatherless and the widow.
37 That they have committed adultery, and blood is on their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bore to me, to pass through the fire, to devour them.
20 And he will snatch on the right hand and be hungry; and he will eat on the left hand and not be satisfied; they will eat every man the flesh of his own arm.
