  • 24Also we certify you, that concerning any of the priests and Levites, singers, gatekeepers, Nethinims, or ministers of this house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom, upon them.

  • 45Then he said to me, "This chamber which faces south is for the priests who have charge of the temple.

  • 6To carpenters, and builders, and masons, and to buy timber and cut stone to repair the house.

  • 8Now in the second year of their coming to the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brothers the priests and the Levites, and all those who had come out of the captivity to Jerusalem, began; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to oversee the work of the house of the LORD.

  • 38And the priest, the son of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes to the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.

  • 11Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, was the ruler of the house of God.

  • 22And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and come and guard the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of Your mercy.
