6For thus has the LORD of hosts said, Cut down trees, and build a mound against Jerusalem. This is the city to be visited; she is full of oppression in her midst.

11And I will make Jerusalem heaps, a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.
11Thus says the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because he pursued his brother with the sword, and cast off all pity, and his anger tore perpetually, and he kept his wrath forever:
12Therefore for your sake Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
6Therefore my fury and my anger was poured forth, and kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.
17The Lord has done what He had planned; He has fulfilled His word that He commanded in the days of old: He has thrown down, and has not pitied: and He has caused your enemy to rejoice over you, He has exalted the strength of your adversaries.
18Their heart cried to the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give yourself no rest; let not the apple of your eye cease.
9Thus says the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.
6I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who shall never be silent day or night: you who remind the LORD, do not keep silent,
7And give him no rest, until he establishes, and until he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
14And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord GOD.
7For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place.
11Our holy and beautiful house, where our fathers praised you, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.

15As you rejoiced at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do to you: you shall be desolate, O Mount Seir, and all Edom, all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
8Shall I not in that day, says the LORD, even destroy the wise men from Edom, and understanding from the mountain of Esau?
26They shall not take from you a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but you shall be desolate forever, says the LORD.
6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love you.
2Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling for all the people around about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
14For Israel has forgotten his Maker, and builds temples; and Judah has multiplied fortified cities, but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces there.
