7“So now, say this to my servant David:‘This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says:“I took you from the pasture and from your work as a shepherd to make you a leader of my people Israel.
25“‘I will make a covenant of peace with them and will rid the land of wild beasts, so that they can live securely in the wilderness and even sleep in the woods.
30Then they will know that I, the LORD their God, am with them, and that they are my people, the house of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD.
31And you, my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are my people, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign LORD.’”
8“So now, say this to my servant David:‘This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies has said: I took you from the pasture and from your work as a shepherd to make you leader of my people Israel.
4I will install rulers over them who will care for them. Then they will no longer need to fear or be terrified. None of them will turn up missing. I, the LORD, promise it!
5“I, the LORD, promise that a new time will certainly come when I will raise up for them a righteous branch, a descendant of David. He will rule over them with wisdom and understanding and will do what is just and right in the land.

38You must obey all I command you to do, follow my instructions, do what I approve, and keep my rules and commandments, like my servant David did. Then I will be with you and establish for you a lasting dynasty, as I did for David; I will give you Israel.
39I will humiliate David’s descendants because of this, but not forever.”
14I will put him in permanent charge of my house and my kingdom; his dynasty will be permanent.”’”

21I will put your robe on him, tie your belt around him, and transfer your authority to him. He will become a protector of the residents of Jerusalem and of the people of Judah.
25So now, O LORD God, make this promise you have made about your servant and his family a permanent reality. Do as you promised,
20so that they may follow my statutes and observe my regulations and carry them out. Then they will be my people, and I will be their God.
8And I will bring them to settle within Jerusalem. They will be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and righteousness.’
18Then I will establish your dynasty, just as I promised your father David,‘You will not fail to have a successor ruling over Israel.’
14“‘I the LORD have spoken; judgment is coming and I will act! I will not relent, or show pity, or be sorry! I will judge you according to your conduct and your deeds, declares the Sovereign LORD.’”
