24The land of Judah will be inhabited by people who live in its towns as well as by farmers and shepherds with their flocks.
38Jerusalem Will Be Enlarged“Indeed a time is coming,” says the LORD,“when the city of Jerusalem will be rebuilt as my special city. It will be built from the Tower of Hananel westward to the Corner Gate.
2Our feet are standing inside your gates, O Jerusalem.
18I, the LORD, hereby promise to make you as strong as a fortified city, an iron pillar, and a bronze wall. You will be able to stand up against all who live in the land, including the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests and all the people of the land.
25For David said,“The LORD God of Israel has given his people rest and has permanently settled in Jerusalem.
8When the prince enters, he will come by way of the porch of the gate and will go out the same way.
2The LORD said to me:“This gate will be shut; it will not be opened, and no one will enter by it. For the LORD, the God of Israel, has entered by it; therefore it will remain shut.

29Because of your temple in Jerusalem, kings bring tribute to you.
9All the nations will hear about all the good things which I will do to them. This city will bring me fame, honor, and praise before them for the joy that I bring it. The nations will tremble in awe at all the peace and prosperity that I will provide for it.’
10“I, the LORD, say:‘You and your people are saying about this place,“It lies in ruins. There are no people or animals in it.” That is true. The towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem will soon be desolate, uninhabited either by people or by animals. But happy sounds will again be heard in these places.
15They are bubbling with joy as they walk in procession and enter the royal palace.
35For God will deliver Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah, and his people will again live in them and possess Zion.
10However, some of the officials of Judah heard about what was happening and they rushed up to the LORD’s temple from the royal palace. They set up court at the entrance of the New Gate of the LORD’s temple.
17The LORD’s Presence in Zion You will be convinced that I the LORD am your God, dwelling on Zion, my holy mountain. Jerusalem will be holy– conquering armies will no longer pass through it.
2The prince will enter by way of the porch of the gate from the outside, and will stand by the doorpost of the gate. The priests will provide his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he will bow down at the threshold of the gate and then go out. But the gate will not be closed until evening.
9Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Look! Your king is coming to you: he is legitimate and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey– on a young donkey, the foal of a female donkey.
10I will remove the chariot from Ephraim and the warhorse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow will be removed. Then he will announce peace to the nations. His dominion will be from sea to sea and from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth.
12“I, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, say:‘This place will indeed lie in ruins. There will be no people or animals in it. But there will again be in it and in its towns sheepfolds where shepherds can rest their sheep.
24The nations will walk by its light and the kings of the earth will bring their grandeur into it.
