Nor will I ever refuse to choose one of my servant David’s descendants to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Indeed, I will restore them and show mercy to them.”

  • 14Yet I, the LORD, say:“A new time will certainly come. People now affirm their oaths with‘I swear as surely as the LORD lives who delivered the people of Israel out of Egypt.’

  • 40I will make a lasting covenant with them that I will never stop doing good to them. I will fill their hearts and minds with respect for me so that they will never again turn away from me.

  • 10Even if the mountains are removed and the hills displaced, my devotion will not be removed from you, nor will my covenant of friendship be displaced,” says the LORD, the one who has compassion on you.

  • 31You people of this generation, listen to the LORD’s message.“Have I been like a wilderness to you, Israel? Have I been like a dark and dangerous land to you? Why then do you say,‘We are free to wander. We will not come to you any more?’

  • 31In fact, days are coming when I will remove your strength and the strength of your father’s house. There will not be an old man in your house!

  • 7“So I, the LORD, say:‘A new time will certainly come. People now affirm their oaths with“I swear as surely as the LORD lives who delivered the people of Israel out of Egypt.”

  • 28Then, when my sanctuary is among them forever, the nations will know that I, the LORD, sanctify Israel.’”

  • 1The Repentance of Judah This is an oracle, the LORD’s message concerning Israel: The LORD– he who stretches out the heavens and lays the foundations of the earth, who forms the human spirit within a person– says,

  • 4You will lose your hold on the land which I gave to you as a permanent possession. I will make you serve your enemies in a land that you know nothing about. For you have made my anger burn like a fire that will never be put out.”
