9All the nations will hear about all the good things which I will do to them. This city will bring me fame, honor, and praise before them for the joy that I bring it. The nations will tremble in awe at all the peace and prosperity that I will provide for it.’
41I will take delight in doing good to them. I will faithfully and wholeheartedly plant them firmly in the land.’
42“For I, the LORD, say:‘I will surely bring on these people all the good fortune that I am hereby promising them. I will be just as sure to do that as I have been in bringing all this great disaster on them.
21so they themselves can go into the crevices of the rocky cliffs and the openings under the rocky overhangs, trying to escape the dreadful judgment of the LORD and his royal splendor, when he rises up to terrify the earth.
27A Promise of Hope for Israel“You descendants of Jacob, my servants, do not be afraid; do not be terrified, people of Israel. For I will rescue you and your descendants from the faraway lands where you are captives. The descendants of Jacob will return to their land and enjoy peace. They will be secure and no one will terrify them.
28I, the LORD, tell you not to be afraid, you descendants of Jacob, my servant, for I am with you. Though I completely destroy all the nations where I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will indeed discipline you but only in due measure. I will not allow you to go entirely unpunished.”
14When you see this, you will be happy, and you will be revived. The LORD will reveal his power to his servants and his anger to his enemies.

11Let the sky rejoice, and the earth be happy! Let the sea and everything in it shout!
25Do not be afraid of sudden disaster, or when destruction overtakes the wicked;
5The coastlands see and are afraid; the whole earth trembles; they approach and come.
19the great judgments you saw, the signs and wonders, the strength and power by which he brought you out– thus the LORD your God will do to all the people you fear.
