7but even as in every thing ye do abound, in faith, and word, and knowledge, and all diligence, and in your love to us, that also in this grace ye may abound;
9Because of this, we also, from the day in which we heard, do not cease praying for you, and asking that ye may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,
10to your walking worthily of the Lord to all pleasing, in every good work being fruitful, and increasing to the knowledge of God,
11in all might being made mighty according to the power of His glory, to all endurance and long-suffering with joy.

4and let the endurance have a perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire -- in nothing lacking;
5hearing of thy love and faith that thou hast unto the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints,
6that the fellowship of thy faith may become working in the full knowledge of every good thing that `is' in you toward Christ Jesus;
5that in every thing ye were enriched in him, in all discourse and all knowledge,
13Wherefore having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, hope perfectly upon the grace that is being brought to you in the revelation of Jesus Christ,
14as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves to the former desires in your ignorance,
6in which ye are glad, a little now, if it be necessary, being made to sorrow in manifold trials,
7that the proof of your faith -- much more precious than of gold that is perishing, and through fire being approved -- may be found to praise, and honour, and glory, in the revelation of Jesus Christ,
22Your souls having purified in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to brotherly love unfeigned, out of a pure heart one another love ye earnestly,
11and we desire each one of you the same diligence to shew, unto the full assurance of the hope unto the end,
3Beloved, all diligence using to write to you concerning the common salvation, I had necessity to write to you, exhorting to agonize for the faith once delivered to the saints,
9and this I pray, that your love yet more and more may abound in full knowledge, and all judgment,
10for your proving the things that differ, that ye may be pure and offenceless -- to a day of Christ,
6in pureness, in knowledge, in long-suffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in love unfeigned,
14wherefore, beloved, these things waiting for, be diligent, spotless and unblameable, by Him to be found in peace,
