9Lie not one to another, having put off the old man with his practices,
10and having put on the new, which is renewed in regard to knowledge, after the image of Him who did create him;
11where there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, servant, freeman -- but the all and in all -- Christ.
23and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
24and to put on the new man, which, according to God, was created in righteousness and kindness of the truth.
25Wherefore, putting away the lying, speak truth each with his neighbour, because we are members one of another;
27for as many as to Christ were baptized did put on Christ;
14but put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and for the flesh take no forethought -- for desires.

13Wherefore having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, hope perfectly upon the grace that is being brought to you in the revelation of Jesus Christ,
2the things above mind ye, not the things upon the earth,
36be ye therefore merciful, as also your Father is merciful.
1Become, then, followers of God, as children beloved,
8and, before all things, to one another having the earnest love, because the love shall cover a multitude of sins;
3whose adorning -- let it not be that which is outward, of plaiting of hair, and of putting around of things of gold, or of putting on of garments,
4but -- the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible thing of the meek and quiet spirit, which is, before God, of great price,
14For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
17This, then, I say, and I testify in the Lord; ye are no more to walk, as also the other nations walk, in the vanity of their mind,
15and the Lord God sanctify in your hearts. And `be' ready always for defence to every one who is asking of you an account concerning the hope that `is' in you, with meekness and fear;
8For God is my witness, how I long for you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ,
10in the love of brethren, to one another kindly affectioned: in the honour going before one another;
6in pureness, in knowledge, in long-suffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in love unfeigned,
3nothing in rivalry or vain-glory, but in humility of mind one another counting more excellent than yourselves --
17and the wisdom from above, first, indeed, is pure, then peaceable, gentle, easily entreated, full of kindness and good fruits, uncontentious, and unhypocritical: --
7that He might show, in the ages that are coming, the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus,
7and in the piety the brotherly kindness, and in the brotherly kindness the love;
