1Brethren, the pleasure indeed of my heart, and my supplication that `is' to God for Israel, is -- for salvation;

7What then? What Israel doth seek after, this it did not obtain, and the chosen did obtain, and the rest were hardened,
25`Ye are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant that God made unto our fathers, saying unto Abraham: And in thy seed shall be blessed all the families of the earth;
23and that He might make known the riches of His glory on vessels of kindness, that He before prepared for glory, whom also He did call -- us --
24not only out of Jews, but also out of nations,
22Hebrews are they? I also! Israelites are they? I also! seed of Abraham are they? I also!
5circumcision on the eighth day! of the race of Israel! of the tribe of Benjamin! a Hebrew of Hebrews! according to law a Pharisee!
28And we, brethren, as Isaac, are children of promise,
9and ye `are' a choice race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people acquired, that the excellences ye may shew forth of Him who out of darkness did call you to His wondrous light;
10who `were' once not a people, and `are' now the people of God; who had not found kindness, and now have found kindness.
1What, then, shall we say Abraham our father, to have found, according to flesh?
26and it shall be -- in the place where it was said to them, Ye `are' not My people; there they shall be called sons of the living God.'
27And Isaiah doth cry concerning Israel, `If the number of the sons of Israel may be as the sand of the sea, the remnant shall be saved;
13For not through law `is' the promise to Abraham, or to his seed, of his being heir of the world, but through the righteousness of faith;
14for if they who are of law `are' heirs, the faith hath been made void, and the promise hath been made useless;
