ዳዊት ንኣሂመሌክ ካህን እንታይ በለ፦ ንጉሱ ስራሕ ኣክልኒ ትእዛዝ ኣተወኒ፣ እሞ ንሓደ ሰብ እንኳ ስለ እቲ ስራሕ ዝስዕብካ ክንደይ ዘሎ ኣይፈልጥን ኢሉ ኣለኒ፤ ዝሕነጽካን ዝዘዝክካን እቲ ኩሉ ነገር ምስርሕ። ኣገልጋሎተይ ኣብ ዝበለ ቦታታት ኣመይጥኣዮም።

    5ዳዊት መለሰ እንታይ ኢሉ፦ ብሓቂ ካብ ወጣእኩ ጀሚሩ እዚኣ ሶስተ መዓልታት ኣንስትዮ ካብና ተርሕቡ እዮም። ኣካላቶም ወጣቕ ሰባት ቅዱሳት እዮም፤ ዳቦኡ ደጊም ንልማድ እንተ ዚመስል እዩ እንኳ፣ እዚ መዓልቲ ኣብ መዕቀብ ዝተቀደሰ እሞ።

    6እንተዛ ካህኑ ዳቦ ቅዱስ ሃበዎ። እሞ ኣብ ዚ ካልእ ዳቦ የብሉን እንጂ ዳቦ ማቕረብ ብቻ ነበረ፣ እቲ ካብ በፊት እግዚኣብሔር ዝተወሰደ፤ እቲ ዝተወሰደ መዓልቲ ዳቦ ሓዱሽ ሙቅ ክተኻፈል ነይሩ።

    11‘ሰባት ቄይላ ኣብ እጁ ክሰጡኒ ይግባእ? እንተ ኣገልጋይካ ሰሚዖ እንዳ ሳኦል ክወርድ ይግባእ? እግዚኣብሔር ኣምላኽ እስራኤል፣ ተለሊ ንኣገልጋይካ በለዎ।’ እግዚኣብሔር መለሰ፦ ‘ክወርድ ይግባእ.’

    12ዳዊት እንዲ በለ፦ ‘ሰባት ቄይላ እኔን ሰባትይን ኣብ እጅ ሳኦል ክሰጡና ይግባእ?’ እግዚኣብሔር መለሰ፦ ‘እዮም ክሰጡካ.’
