ንቡር ድማ ኤልዓዛር ወዲ ዶዶ ኣሆሓዊ ነበረ፣ ካብ ሶስቱ ጀጋናት ሓደ ነበረ ንዳዊት። ፍልስጥናውያን ናብ ጦርነት ተሰብርዎም እዮም እንተ ነበረ፣ ሰባት እስራኤል ደጊም ኣፍልጦም ነበሩ።

    10እሱ ተነስዮ ፍልስጥናውያን ክሳብ እጁ ደኸመ ድሕነት ክሳብ ኣበረኸ፣ እጁ ሰይፉ ተጣበቀት ነበረት፤ ብዚ መዓልቲ እግዚአብሔር ዓቢ ድል ኣደረገ፣ ሕዝቡ ደጊም ብኋላ እሱ ብቻ ንምርካስ ተመለሱ።

    11ንቡር ድማ ሻማ ወዲ አጌ ሐራራዊ ነበረ። ፍልስጥናውያን ኣብ ስንብት ተሰብሩ እዮም እንተ ነበረ፣ ኣብ ክፍሊ ምድር ብምስር ዝሞላ ነበረ፤ ሕዝቡ ካብ ፍልስጥናውያን ሸሽኦ።

    12እሱ ግን ኣብ መካነ ቦታ ቆም ኣንጻሮ ነበረን ፍልስጥናውያን ገደለን፤ እግዚአብሔር ዓቢ ድል ኣደረገ።

    13ካብ ሰላሳቱ ራሕሪት ሶስቱ ኣብ ዘመነ መኽሓላ ወርዱ ናብ ዳዊት ኣብ ዋላ ኣዱላም፤ ጭብጥ ፍልስጥናውያን ኣብ ሸለቆ ረፋይም ማእሰርቱ ነበሩ።
